For the past decade, Glenn McQuaid has worked as a visual effects artist and title designer in both Dublin and New York, for such agencies as BBDO, Young & Rubicam, Grey and Ogilvy & Mather. He delivered his masterstroke when he wrote and directed the feature film I SELL THE DEAD, a darkly comic tip-of-the-hat to the Hammer Films on which he was raised. He turned his love of camp sideways to create a whimsically funny ad campaign for TRUVO, and took a social stand with his entry in the IT GETS BETTER campaign, profiling the New York rugby team Gotham Knights. Most recently, McQuaid's been getting rave reviews for directing a segment of the creepy anthology film V/H/S, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival where it was picked-up for distribution earlier this year. McQuaid flawlessly blends spontaneous wit with a razor-sharp acumen to achieve increasingly impressive results.
